Tropical Avocados

Avocados are the new wave in fresh fruit. Fresh from Florida, our Green Skin Avocados are smooth, creamy, and packed with natural goodness. With their mild, buttery flavor and vibrant green skin, they’re perfect for salads, sandwiches, guacamole, or simply enjoying on their own. Rich in healthy fats, fiber, and essential vitamins, Florida Green Skin Avocados bring flavor, nutrition, and versatility to every meal.

Compared to Hass variety avocados, these avocados are 3× bigger, bright green, and have smooth, shiny skin.

Avocados do not soften on the tree; they must reach full maturity before being picked to develop their best flavor. They don’t brown quickly after opening and are lower in fat with fewer calories. Plus, they’re large enough for the whole family to enjoy!

  1. Slice & Scoop: Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the creamy flesh with a spoon.

  2. Mash for Guacamole: Mash the flesh with a fork and mix with lime, salt, and seasonings for a classic guacamole.

  3. Add to Salads: Cube or slice and toss into salads for a buttery texture and rich flavor.

  4. Spread on Toast: Mash and spread on bread for a quick, nutritious snack or breakfast.

  5. Blend into Smoothies: Add to smoothies for extra creaminess and a boost of healthy fats.

  6. Bake or Grill: Try stuffing, grilling, or lightly baking avocado halves for a warm, unique dish.

  7. Garnish Dishes: Thin slices can garnish soups, tacos, or grain bowls for visual appeal and taste.

Typical shelf life is 3-4 days and 7-10 days in the fridge. The fruit is ripe when it softens to the touch. It should be ripened at room temperature and then refrigerated afterward.
