We offer Yuca year round, cultivated in South & Central America.

Shaped like an elongated sweet potato, it has pink to brown, rough skin and white flesh.

Yuca spoils quickly, so store at cool room temperature.

Watch for cracked coating and yellowing of skin, these are signs of aging.

This cooking vegetable is used as the thickening agent for tapioca.

Promote Yuca next to other root vegetables or with potatoes.

Offer it with bark and keep fresh cut pieces on display so the consumer can check the quality.

Remove the outer bark and pale pink undercovering with a knife.

Halve and remove woody center string before cooking or cook whole and then remove the string.
