When choosing starfruit, look for wide ribs on evenly colored fruit. |

Avoid fruit with or squished ribs. |

If green, keep at room temperature until turns yellow and produces a fruity
- floral aroma. |

Ripe carambolas, you can keep for up to 2 weeks in your refrigerator. |
